Our paths crossed during my stint in Muscat, where I had the privilege of interviewing him for the Oman Daily Observer. Little did I know that this encounter would blossom into a cherished friendship.

Despite achieving unparalleled heights of fame and popularity, Ameen Sayani remained remarkably humble. In one of his personal emails to me, he expressed admiration for my work and even sought my guidance, demonstrating his continuous quest for knowledge and improvement. His unwavering humility was a testament to his character, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Even in his later years, as health began to take its toll, he continued to inspire through his unwavering determination.
